SpamAI Multi-User Spam Blocker
SpamAI is a spam filtering program to block
unwanted email. SpamAI can filter mail in
multiple accounts per individual and for
multiple individuals.
The user interface
is web-browser based so that users and
administrator can flexibly be set up on any
combination
of the same and separate machines. Sophisticated
rules are applied to both the content and
headers of the email to mark it as spam
or not. The spam can now be easily separated
and handled as a class, usually by deleting
it after a cursory review in one step.
These
rules based on training from looking
at past spam. SpamAI is unusual in that its
Live
technology upgrades filtering rules and
program code residing on your computer
in
near real
time. You receive updates to filter out
the latest spammer subterfuges within typically
a half hour of posting.
SpamAI uses Regular
Expression (Regex) rules and makes
their definition accessible to the user.
Regex
rules can be very simple for straight
forward tasks such as constructing a list
of people
whose mail you want to receive. They
can also handle sophisticated tasks such
as
recognizing
variant spellings meant to evade filtering.
SpamAI Regex rules allows specific
email patterns to be targeted specifically
without affecting any other rules.
The
Regex
engine
is exposed so power users and administrators
can write their own filtering rules.
You can see the effect of rule edits
immediately for test cases or on the last
30 days
worth
of email received. All email is kept
in a rotating archive that keeps the
last month's
email received so that received email
is never lost. If you delete an email
unread and later decide you should read it,
the
email can be retrieved from the archive
and
read in your email program.
SpamAI
runs under either desktop or server versions
of Windows
and is suitable for businesses
and individuals
alike. SpamAI is compatible with
your
existing email clients such as Outlook,
Outlook Express, Eudora, Mac/Linux clients,
and
many
others.
